Great, great film. Beautiful and tragic and harsh and, at times, uproariously funny. Haven't seen the sequel, City of Men, but Meirelles definitely is a director I'm keeping my eye on. I liked The Constant Gardnener. Haven't seen Blindness, but looked interesting.
